Join us in celebration of "National Indigenous History Month" to learn about Coast Salish art with Squamish Nation artist Aaron Nelson Moody, or “Splash”. Splash's ancestral names are Tawx'sin Yexwulla and Poolx'tun. His expansive career is composed of carving, graphic design and metalwork.

Splash is an educator who works to research, preserve, and rekindle Coast Salish art and culture. His portfolio is vast, with pieces including large-scale wood carvings such as house posts and canoes, silver jewelry engraving, and graphic design murals such as the piece titled Ncheḿús (“Coming Together”) — a collaborative mural with Angela Paul — located on Fern Street near the Highway 1 interchange in North Vancouver.

This program is for all ages.
