This is a program for teens in grades 7 - 12
Join short story writer Erin MacNair for two afternoons of writing. The group will work on submissions for "The Butterfly Effect," this year's theme for the library's teen summer writing contest. After quick introductions and discussion on the elements of a great short story, the group will write together.
Erin MacNair (she, her) works on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh people. Her award-winning stories have been published in Conjunctions, The Baffler, The Walrus, and others. She’s finished a short story collection with support from the Canada Council for the Arts and is writing a novel. More at https://www.erinmacnair.com
