Borrow and renew

Log in to My NVCL

Access your account for checkouts, holds, fines and to view "My Lists".

Library card

All library materials may be borrowed with a library card, except reference materials and home services audiobooks. Registration for a library card is free for City of North Vancouver, BC OneCard users and InterLink communities. Get a library card.

Borrow

Loan periods are 4 weeks for most materials, and 2 weeks for high-demand items such as DVDs and video games. Read about borrowing limits.

Return and renew

Return materials through the automated book drop. Renew materials by logging into our catalogue using your library code and PIN (last 4 digits of your phone number).

Loan periods and holds

NVCL does not charge fines on overdue materials. However, please note that we charge the replacement cost for lost items and long-overdue (6 weeks) items assumed to be lost.

There is no fee to place holds on titles in our catalogue. There is a $1 fee for holds that are not picked up and checked out.

Due to limited space and high interest, please be aware that we will only hold your spot for 5 minutes if the class is full.

Join us for these group learning sessions tailored for Mac laptops.

Bring your Mac laptop and an idea of what you would like to accomplish, and work with a TechConnect staff member and fellow participants in exploring the full potential of your device. We will delve into how your device works and what its capabilities are, and answer your questions.

Registration is recommended. Each person must register individually. Drop-in will be permitted if space permits.
