In this Writing with Writers workshop, join author and editor Christina Myers for a deep dive on dialogue.
Good dialogue contributes to strong characters, powerful scenes, and compelling narrative arcs—while poorly written dialogue can deflate an otherwise great story. Learn about the conventions of dialogue in writing and some tips to create realistic dialogue.
The workshop will touch on both fiction and non-fiction writing, and include time for writing and Q&A. Come with writing implements!
Presented in partnership with the North Shore Writers Association.
