Summer reading club
Summer reading club is every summer at every library in British Columbia for kids in kindergarten through grade 7. This year's theme is "Colour your summer" and invites you to unleash your creativity!

How do you join the club?
You can pick up your SRC package from the library starting Monday, June 9. Our SRC kickoff party is on Wednesday, June 18, and you can stop by the library to receive a sticker for each week of the summer, starting Saturday, June 28. The medal ceremony will be on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Weekly themes
- Red carpet: Celebrating music, film and theatre.
- Outrageous Orange: Geology and all things rock-related.
- Yellow Brick Road: Fantasy and other worlds.
- Growing Green: Biology and nature.
- Ocean Blue: Oceans.
- Indi-GO: Planes, trains and automobiles.
- Ultra-violet: Art and history.

How do I participate?
You read every day for 50 days. It can be for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or even an hour.
Win prizes!
SRC members can enter a weekly prize draw! When you come in for your weekly sticker, enter the draw for a chance to win a Kidsbooks gift card.
