This is a program for teens in grades 7 to 12
Join fellow wordsmiths for friendly banter, exercises and reading of work, led by North Shore Writers' Association member Erin MacNair.
Meetings take place on Jan. 19, Feb. 23, March 16, April 20 and May 25. Please register for the dates you will attend. Snacks will be provided.
Erin MacNair (she, her) works on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh people. Her award-winning stories have been published in Conjunctions, The Baffler, The Walrus and others. She’s finished a short story collection with support from the Canada Council for the Arts and is writing a novel. More at https://www.erinmacnair.com.
Participants in this program are invited to stay for the North Shore Writer's Association Speaker Series, which takes place following this program. On April 20th NSWA will host Lisa Bagshaw in conversation with Susan Juby, award-winning comedic writer and professor of creative writing.
