Library card
All library materials may be borrowed with a library card, except reference materials and home services audiobooks. Registration for a library card is free for City of North Vancouver, BC OneCard users and InterLink communities. Get a library card.
Borrow
Loan periods are 4 weeks for most materials, and 2 weeks for high-demand items such as DVDs and video games. Read about borrowing limits.
Return and renew
Return materials through the automated book drop. Renew materials by logging into our catalogue using your library code and PIN (last 4 digits of your phone number).
Loan periods and holds
NVCL does not charge fines on overdue materials. However, please note that we charge the replacement cost for lost items and long-overdue (6 weeks) items assumed to be lost.
There is no fee to place holds on titles in our catalogue. There is a $1 fee for holds that are not picked up and checked out.
Staff from Vancouver Coastal Health’s Early Psychosis Intervention (EPI) program will deliver a presentation and Q&A about psychosis, recommended treatment and services available in our community. Participants will come away with greater understanding of what psychosis is, as well as empathy and confidence in their ability to support loved ones and their community.
Registration is recommended, but drop-ins will be allowed if space permits.
