In this financial literacy workshop, participants will develop a better understanding of Canada's tax system. The learning objectives include:
- Understanding basic tax law;
- Learning tax planning and detailed record keeping;
- Understanding how to reduce income subject to tax, maximize deductions and use all allowable tax credits;
- Learning simple ways to save money.
This workshop is held in partnership with Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA). Registration is recommended, but drop-ins will be allowed if space permits.
