Event overview

November 5, 2025

6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Please note: this program is intended for adults and is not designed for children.

Are you a childcare provider, or early childhood educator, wanting to learn about incorporating Indigenous knowledge into your circletime programming? We are continuing our Circletime Success workshop series with this special workshop, designed to inspire caretakers of young children, ages 0 to 5. We will explore language resources provided by the local nation, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish nation), and create a felt story to support the development of participants' language skills in Skwxwú7mesh Sníchim.

All supplies are provided for participants by the library, along with a workshop completion certificate. Light refreshments will be served.

If you have questions, please reach out to the library at info@nvcl.ca or call 604-998-3450.
