Congratulations to Elena Rowland, winner of this year’s Orange Shirt Day artist call. Elena’s piece was chosen from many talented artists and will be on display in the library lobby through this week.

Orange Shirt Day recognizes survivors of residential schools in Canada. Held annually in September, it is a movement that encourages conversation and learning about the history of residential schools and survivors. Read more about Orange Shirt Day.
