Gather with fellow seniors at the library, share some stories and enjoy some light refreshments. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month on the 3rd floor at the library.
Drop-ins are welcome but registrations are encouraged. You can register at any desk or by calling us at 604-998-3450. If you have any questions or concerns please email info@nvcl.ca.
Join our resident Indigenous Storyteller Kung Jaadee as she begins our program with a Coast Salish anthem and short Squamish and Haida legends.
Kung Jaadee is a professional Indigenous storyteller, educator and published author who has been telling stories for 30-plus years across Canada. She belongs to the X̱aayda (Haida), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Tlingit, Tsleil-Waututh Nations, and is also part Hawaiian. She was born and raised on Haida Gwaii and is from the Yaguu’laanaas Raven Clan.
