Are you new to Canada? Do you want to improve your English? You are invited to join our in-person conversation group. This instructor-led conversation circle (Tuesdays, January 13–March 3) is an opportunity to meet other newcomers and volunteers from the community, and to practice your English in a casual and welcoming environment.

In this group you will:

  • Practise English speaking and listening skills
  • Explore topics of interest to seniors
  • Small group discussions led by an instructor and community volunteers
  • Guest speakers and social activities
  • New topics introduced in each session
  • Suitable for seniors (55+) with LINC level 1–3

Seats are limited; only shortlisted eligible clients will be invited. Register early!

This workshop is open to all newcomers and immigrants. Priority will be given to Permanent Residents, Protected Persons, and Refugees. To participate, you must be registered as a client with Impact North Shore. This program is government-funded and hosted by Impact North Shore.
