Work will be taking place in City Library’s first floor lobby, which will be undergoing upgrades to refresh the space and replace shelving, beginning Oct. 17. Construction is scheduled to last about two weeks, during which time there might be intermittent construction noise. Seating in the lobby will also be temporarily limited.
Earplugs are available at any service desk and staff can help you find a quieter place to read or study.
Some services will be temporarily relocated:

- Magazines
- Self-checkout machines
