Want to be a filmmaker? Interested in learning to use professional cameras and editing software? Make an original short film in five days! Experienced facilitators will guide you through the entire process, from scripting to shooting to post-production.

This five-day workshop is for youth in grades 7 to 12 and runs Aug. 18 – 22. Register once for the Aug. 18 session, and this will confirm your attendance for all five days.

This camp is presented in collaboration with The Cinematheque, a charitable cultural organization that has offered film and media education programs for more than 20 years. From engaging digital literacy workshops to unique filmmaking programs, The Cinematheque aims to foster a passion for film and a critical understanding of visual media.

These workshops are fully funded by the City of North Vancouver through donations made by productions and commercials filmed in the City.
