Meet the Summer Reading Club artist

Come one, come all to meet this year's Summer Reading Club artist, Lauren Achtem!

Families are welcome to join Lauren in a colour-a-thon where everyone will get the opportunity to doodle and colour their favourite characters and creations from this year's Summer Reading Club-themed artwork. Meet the artist and learn what it's like to be an illustrator, and hear how Lauren became inspired to create her adorable characters for the SRC theme, Colour Your Summer!

Please note that children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian for the duration of the event. Registrants can bring up to two guests — please select the total number of guests joining you when registering.

Come by the children's department at City Library to pick up your reading record and start reading today. You'll be entered to win one of our weekly prizes once you complete a week of reading, and share your record at the library desk. Each entry also earns you a chance at winning our grand prize!
