North Shore libraries invite new immigrants to attend an ONLINE Information Session via Zoom to learn about a unique adult volunteering opportunity named Library Champion project. 

Are you a newcomer looking for: 

  • Canadian volunteer work experience?
  • Information about library and other community services?
  • A way to give back to your community?
  • Better communication skills?
  • More confidence?
  • New friends and connections?
  • A better understanding of your community?

The Library Champions Project offers all of these things and much more!

To be a North Shore Library Champion, you must:

  • Live on the North Shore;
  • Be an immigrant: Permanent and Temporary Residents and Naturalized Citizens are eligible;
  • Want to volunteer;
  • Love libraries and helping other people;
  • Be 19 years or older.
