Access your account for checkouts, holds, fines and to view "My Lists".
All library materials may be borrowed with a library card, except reference materials and home services audiobooks. Registration for a library card is free for City of North Vancouver, BC OneCard users and InterLink communities. Get a library card.
Loan periods are 4 weeks for most materials, and 2 weeks for high-demand items such as DVDs and video games. Read about borrowing limits.
Return materials through the automated book drop. Renew materials by logging into our catalogue using your library code and PIN (last 4 digits of your phone number).
NVCL does not charge fines on overdue materials. However, please note that we charge the replacement cost for lost items and long-overdue (6 weeks) items assumed to be lost.
There is no fee to place holds on titles in our catalogue. There is a $1 fee for holds that are not picked up and checked out.

Share your favourite books! Each book you recommend will receive a “teen verified sticker” so it is easy to find in the collection and will be added to our “teen verified” booklist. Along with the sticker, your review will be printed and added to the inside cover of the book.
