Need inspiration?

Need some ideas? The sky is the limit and we’ll accept any of your creative work on the theme of “What Matters to You”! If you’re looking for inspiration, here are some centennial-related examples to get your creative juices flowing. You could:

  • Make art imagining what the library will look like in 100 years;
  • Write an essay or poem about the impact the library has on your life;
  • Write a short story about the day in the life of a teen leaving 100 years in the past or future;
  • Make a comic illustrating what a teen’s life was like 100 years ago. What are the differences in the community between then and now?
  • Make a visual timeline with significant events in local history between 1924 and 2024;
  • Create a fictional diary of someone from 100 years ago or 100 years in the future.

This issue will be edited, designed and bound by our Teen Advisory Council.
