Seniors' Gathering

This drop-in program for adults 55. Previous events have included guest speakers who have shared information on everything from transit tips and chocolate-making to downloadable ebooks and politics! 


Kevin Bell. Tuesday June 8, 10 – 11:30 a.m.

Kevin Bell from the Wild Bird Trust of BC will be talking about Maplewood Flats Conservation Area (2 km. east of the 2nd Narrows Bridge). Learn about the nature walks, birds, critters and native plants that can be found in this area. This presentation will be followed by our Tech Talk which will be reporting back on the Library's Citizen Science Project that has been collecting data since March. What are our findings, what is happening with all the information found, what's yet to come.
